I just came back from Iran where I filmed secretly the feature film “Fragments of Iran”.
“Fragments of Iran” is a docu-fiction film about injustice and was secretly shot on cell phones in Iran. The feature film was created with a group of Iranian actors who wish to remain unknown and who operate under the name Dry Branches Company. “Fragments of Iran” has the support of the Flemish Film Fund. A tribute to all who stood up against the system.
Plot Outline
“Fragments of Iran” brings the story of a young Iranian who wakes up in a Tehran prison and tries to remember what exactly happened to him. Together with him we dig in the current, explosive situation in Iran and the Middle East.
